Happy New Year, ya so it's a little late. We're still here, well most of us. We're looking into getting new servers so if you have ideas let an admin know, Mr. Bob, Asthrou, Pred. or Twitchy. We're looking into the new CS mods and some other games. So anything is up for grabs! We will probably get two to four servers, one private and loaded with a few games. This way we can switch from time to time to play custom maps or mods. We want to bring back what we had a few years ago, and some new blood. So look to this site for news.
Also we need a new host, we will NOT be going back to Counter-Strike.com. They have yet to fix their forums or site after being hacked almost a year ago, so sad, so data is getting out to the wrong people and their mods/admins/owner don't care. I am sure they are about to go under any month now. If it is possible I might just build my own box, really doesn't take a big PC, just good bandwidth and a legal server connection, so business level cable would work. Comcrap has it for $200 a month for 50Mbps down and 10 Mbps up or $370 a month for 100 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up, so it should be able to sustain a few servers. Really it will come down to what's the least expensive. If renting a box is cheaper then upping my internet connection and building a basic server then we'll rent a box, otherwise I have some boxes we can use until I get a real server up, if needed. |

Is anybody there? Hehe. Yes, some of us are still here and playing. We might not be playing CS:S but we are playing something.So, now's your chance to let us know what you want us to host. Maybe it's a new CS:S server, maybe TF2 or some other game. Do you want a custom server with mods and only custom maps? Tell us on our forums otherwise we might just not have anything for some time. If we don't hear from you we will not have game servers online.Just click the link to the left called "forums" and then in the general section you can post in the thread called "What do YOU want?" This will make it really easy for you since you shouldn't need a login. I think, we might have it set up where you have to have a log in to post. But hey, if you do need a log in, no biggie, cuz then you can see a lot more on the forums.Thanks!Mr. Bob |

So, there has been debate on the forums on whether or not to start hosting a server, or two, or three, or a million, and as of yet we have not decided on a single thing other then 19 year olds aren't old enough to pay bills and 15-16 year olds are young... boy am I old then! If you have an opinion then you are not a sheep, and you should follow your friends to the forums and post your thoughts on us bringing back a server, or a few, to support the ever growing needs of good, fun, safe place to play. Or you can stay quiet and play on servers with admin abusers, hackers, and servers that have so many mods on them your ping is higher then a final score of a basketball game, over a hundred plus for those who never watch basketball, like me, and your fps numbers are so low that you wonder if it should be frames per hour, not frames per second. The more posts we get to start hosting again... and the more donations we get the faster we start hosting. It only takes $30 to host a good server, $50 for a great server and more money means more servers. |
